Exemplifies the Jasper spirit both as an athlete and an alumnus. Posted 11 top-three finishes as a member of the Jaspers' track team from 1953 to 1955. Senior team captain. Member of the College's Athletic Committee which led the way to the building of Draddy Gymnasium. Helped establish the College's Athletic Hall of Fame and the Junius Kellogg Scholarship.
