Manhattan University Athletic Hall of Fame
Ken McBryde was a standout performer for the track and field program, earning five All-American citations. He earned three-straight All-American honors in indoors from 1973-75, highlighted by twice finishing third, and was a major factor in the Jaspers' run to the 1973 NCAA Indoor Championship. He also collected back-to-back All-American during outdoors, highlighted by a second-place finish at the 1974 NCAA Outdoor Championships. On a national level, McBryde was a finalist at the 1972 and 1976 United States Olympic Trials. He would then go on to serve as an Athletic Director at the collegiate level.
