Manhattan University Athletic Hall of Fame
Robert Conkling was a standout for the track and field program. He finished second in the Freshman IC4A Cross-Country Championship in 1936. Conkling would go on to win championships in the Metropolitan AAU Three-Mile race, the New Jersey Outdoor Three-Mile AAU Championship and the IC4A Indoor Two-Mile. He also helped lead to he Jaspers to the IC4A Cross-Country Championships three-straight seasons (1936-38).
