A member of both the baseball and basketball teams, Aurigemma led the Jaspers in hitting as a sophomore, junior and senior, improving his average every season (.359,.365,.446). A career .390 hitter, he was a three-time All-Metropolitan First Team selection. In 1969, he was voted NCAA District II First Team and received the Topps All-Star Award.
