Manhattan University Athletic Hall of Fame
One of the most celebrated teams in the history of Manhattan College Athletics, the 2006 baseball squad won the first MAAC championship in program history and made Manhattan's first NCAA Tournament appearance in nearly 50 years. Â The Jaspers upset sixth-ranked Nebraska in the first game of the NCAA Tournament and they eventually reached the Regional Final, where they fell to Miami. Â Manhattan's 34 victories that season were a program record, and the team also set program marks for runs scored (354), doubles (96), home runs (44), stolen bases (100), ERA (4.03) and strikeouts (406).
