The 1991-92 Men's Basketball Team was the first regular-season MAAC Champions in program history. The Jaspers were the top seed in the MAAC Tournament and finished the year with 25 wins, which was the most in school history.

Manhattan featured five future Manhattan Hall of Farmers and won two postseason games, the most in a single postseason in program history. The Jaspers beat Saint Peter’s and Iona in the MAAC Tournament before beating Wisconsin-Green Bay and Rutgers in the Postseason NIT.

In the middle of the season, the Jaspers reeled off nine straight victories to help them secure the MAAC regular season title. The winning streak started with a 67-66 win at Fordham in the Battle of the Bronx and covered the first seven games of conference play. During the regular season, Manhattan didn’t lose back-to-back games once and had three different winning streaks of at least three straight.

Head Coach Steve Lappas was named MAAC Coach of the Year, and Keith Bullock earned First Team All-MAAC honors. Bullock scored 579 points in 1991-92, which is sixth all-time in a single season in program history.
