Already making his mark on the baseball diamond with a batting average over .300 and speed on the bases, Bruns became on of Manhattan's most accomplished walk-ons in basketball.  Selected to the All-Met Conferece's First Team, he held the record for most points in a season by a backcourtman when he graduated.
