Louis McKenna was a three-sport standout for the Jaspers. He played for the baseball, basketball and football teams. A former baseball team captain, McKenna signed with the Brooklyn Dodgers and played for their Winston-Salem minor league team in 1938. He later worked as a football referee in over 250 college games.
