Molly Brunk named MAAC Defensive Player of the Week

Riverdale, N.Y. — Sophomore goalkeeper Molly Brunk has been named the Jersey Mike's MAAC Defensive Player of the Week, the MAAC announced on Monday afternoon. Brunk had a brilliant week in net for the Jaspers, tallying 2 saves in a 1-0 win at LIU on Thursday and 5 saves in Sunday's 3-0 home-opening win over Wagner. 

Brunk, who has started all 19 games in her career at Manhattan, now has 4 clean sheets in her career, including notching two more this past week.
