EDISON, NJ - In recognition of their efforts throughout the 2025 campaign, Senior defender Mayah Wheeler and Junior midfielder Olivia McMaster have been selected to All-MAAC First Team and All-MAAC Third Team, respectively, announced by the conference on Monday morning.

Wheeler anchored a defensive unit that finished fifth across the MAAC in goals-against-average, as the Jaspers averaged only 1.78 goals allowed per contest. The Latham, NY native also assisted on a goal in four of the first five conference matches, with Manhattan earning wins in two. In addition, her lone goal of the season came in a pivotal 1-0 victory over Marist on Oct. 15 at Gaelic Park.

"Mayah has been a vital part of the program from the second she arrived on campus. Her fitness and work rate has made her one of the best two-way players in the conference and I'm very happy her play has been acknowledged in this way," said Head Coch Brendan Lawler

McMaster took the offensive end of the game by charge, leading the Green and White with six scores throughout the season. She also tallied a pair of multi-goal matches against Saint Peter's on Oct. 8 and against Fairfield on Oct. 18. The latter comes as a quite impressive feat, considering the Stags only gave up six goals throughout the entirety of MAAC play, and the Williamstown, NJ native accounted for two.

"Liv has worked incredibly hard to adapt to a new position this year and I'm so happy for her to have her dedication pay off. All of her attacking numbers are way up from last year despite playing five less games, but even more impressive is her work rate and defensive pressure that often helped us win the ball earlier and start our attacks closer to goal," commented Lawler.
