Fourteen Women's Soccer Student-Athletes Selected to MAAC All-Academic Team

EDISON, NJ - Earlier this week, the MAAC announced a total of 218 student-athletes being named to this season's All-Academic Team. 14 of those came from the Manhattan Women's Soccer program, per a league release.

Going in descending order alphabetically, Lauren Ahearn, Arancha Antunes, Lily Bandel, Molly Brunk, Naveah D'Aloia, Samantha D'Angelo, Gianna Fucile, Amaya Hill, Julia Leonard, Olivia McMaster, Carly Reimbauer, Kaylee Stowell, Mary Trudeau, and Payton Wilkerson were all bestowed the honor. 

To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale. 

Four seniors in D'Aloia, D'Angelo, Hill, and Reimbauer led the way in experience, with the quartet majoring in biology, marketing, exercise science, and childhood education, respectively. 

Juniors grabbed the most amount of selections with seven. Ahearn majors in marketing alongside D'Angelo. Antunes is pursuing her career in the form of electrical engineering, Brunk in exercise science, Fucile in childhood education, McMaster in biology, Stowell in psychology, and Wilkerson in political science. 

Rounding out the crew were three sophomores, as the trio of Bandel, Leonard, and Trudeau saw the former two majoring in exercise science, with Trudeau going in the communication direction.
