Kansas City, MO - Fresh off a stellar season and helping Manhattan reach its second MAAC Championship in three years, senior forward
Erica Modena (Massapequa, NY / Massapequa) was nominated to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division I All-East Region Third Team on Wednesday.
From the MAAC's official release:
"Modena became the first student-athlete from Manhattan to be named the MAAC Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Year. The forward was also an All-MAAC First Team and All-Championship Team selection this past season. Modena ranked second in the MAAC in points (29), second in goals (11), and tied for sixth in assists (seven). She registered three multi-goal games, including a hat-trick against Canisius College on October 11."
