Riverdale, NY –
Fresh off of clinching a top-four seed for the upcoming Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships, Manhattan (9-4-3; 5-1-3 MAAC) concludes the regular season at home against Iona (3-15; 2-7 MAAC) on Wednesday, October 28 at 3:00 pm.

Playoff Periscope
The Jaspers have clinched no worse than a No. 4 seed for the upcoming MAAC Tournament and could rise to the No. 2 seed with a win and a Rider tie or loss at Canisius, by finishing tied with Niagara, or in a three-way tie with Broncs and Purple Eagles. A win would guarantee Manhattan at least the No. 3 seed.

Leading The Way
Kristen Skonieczny notched her school-record 17th career shutout in a 0-0 draw at Marist. The senior keeper made a season-high eight saves and is currently first in the NCAA Division I ranks with a .926 save percentage. She is also third with a 0.35 GAA and has notched shutouts in five of her last six matches while surrendering just two goals in over 874-plus minutes of MAAC action.

The Best Around
* Manhattan has registered a school-record 18 points, bettering the previous mark of 16 set by the 1998 squad.
* With a victory against Iona, the Jaspers would notched double-digits in victories for the third time in school history.
* Manhattan, which can finish as high as second, can finish no lower than fourth place, which would equal the previous best finish by a Jasper squad.

Also Among The National Leaders
* Junior Erica Modena is tied for second in the MAAC and 48th nationally with 10 goals and is tied for fourth in the league and 91st in the nation with 21 points.
* Freshman Nicole Copping is tied for third in the MAAC and 82nd nationally with six assists.

Home Cooking

The Jaspers have not allowed a goal during MAAC play at home while posting shutouts in five of their six matches at Gaelic Park.

Iona Notes
* Iona defeated Manhattan 1-0 a year ago despite seven saves by Skonieczny.
* The Gaels are 3-0-1 in the team's last four meetings.
* Manhattan leads the all-time series by an 11-9-4 mark, including holding a 6-4-1 advantage at home.
