2013 Manhattan College Women's Soccer Schedule
RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The 2013 Manhattan College women's soccer season will begin on Friday, August 23 with the annual crosstown meeting against Fordham at Gaelic Park.
The Fordham match kicks off a nine-game home slate for the Jaspers, which will also travel to Lafayette on Sunday, August 25 during its opening weekend.
Manhattan will open MAAC play at Marist on Saturday, September 21 at 4 p.m. before returning home to meet Iona on Wednesday, Sept. 25 at Gaelic Park at 7 p.m.
The Jaspers close out the regular season with three of their last four matches at home. Manhattan hosts St. Peter's on October 16, followed by a meeting with Rider on Oct. 19. A first-ever MAAC match with Quinnipiac comes on Oct. 23 and the regular season finale will be against Siena on Saturday, Oct. 26 at 1 p.m.
Under the guidance of fourth-year head coach Brendan Lawler, Manhattan returns eight starters from last year's squad, including its two leading scorers in seniors Janie Schlauder and Martine Diamond.
