Fall 2011 JasperVision Schedule
RIVERDALE, N.Y. - The Manhattan Athletic Department has released the JasperVision broadcast schedule for the 2011 fall season. A total of 25 home soccer and volleyball contests will be broadcast live at www.gojaspers.com. In addition, this year marks the debut of MAAC.tv, which will allow Jaspers fans to watch select road games on the conference's official website, www.maacsports.com.
The fall JasperVision schedule gets underway on Friday, Sept. 9, when the women's soccer team hosts local rival Fordham at 7 p.m. at Gaelic Park. The first men's soccer broadcast of the season will be the Jaspers' game against St. Francis (NY) at 4 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 16. The Manhattan volleyball team's 2011 JasperVision debut will be the home opener from Draddy Gymnasium against Saint Peter's on Saturday, Sept. 16 at 2 p.m. A total of 14 soccer (seven women's, seven men's) and 13 volleyball contests will be featured.
This year, JasperVision broadcasts will feature enhanced graphics to go along with live commentary. In addition, all basketball broadcasts, as well as select other events, will be shown in high definition. With the exception of televised contests, all home men's and women's basketball games will be on JasperVision. All contests will be archived and available on-demand shortly after their conclusion.
MAAC.tv will bring together all live streaming video broadcasts from six conference schools (Canisius, Iona, Manhattan, Marist, Rider, Saint Peter's), as well as conference championships in select sports, in one centralized location. Fans can choose their favorite school and have access to all of that team's home games, as well as select road contests. A conference package, covering every event streamed by all six schools, is also available.
JasperVision and MAAC.tv packages are available in 12-month, four-month or one-month subscriptions. A 12-month JasperVision subscription costs $59.95, while a four-month subscription is $39.95 and a one-month subscription is available for $12.95. Single games can also be purchased for $5.95. If fans choose to sign-up for the conference package, the prices are $69.95 (12-month), $44.95 (four-month) and $15.95 (one-month). All packages are set up for automatic renewal.
