John McKiernan is from Orangeburg, NY. He is the son of Jack and Mary McKiernan. His sisters, Sara McKiernan and Kaila McKiernan both attend SUNY Geneseo. John McKiernan has rowed for 1 year as a bow or starport. His outside interests are investing, sports, and his dog. He is in the class of 2022 majoring in communications with a minor in business and his aspirations are in Public Relations. He chose Manhattan College because of its surrounding area. John’s  family grew up in the Riverdale area so he was familiar with the outside area as well as the career opportunities that New York City presents.
