EDISON, NJ – The Metro Conference has released its Men's Soccer Players of the Week, which has included Manhattan's graduate forward Cristiano Marsilii as Offensive Player of the Week, per release on Monday afternoon.
One of over two dozen newcomers to the Jaspers roster has found his home quickly, scoring three goals in the previous two games, including a win over the Privateers of Maritime College on Wednesday, followed by a brace on Sunday afternoon playing host to the Howard Bison in the 4:2 win.
Additionally, Marsilii has logged eight shots in the previous two games, with four on target, and posted game-winning goals in the last two. The final tally for the Rome, Italy native came off a penalty kick in the 41st minute of the first half of Sunday's victory.
