LOUDONVILLE, NY – The Manhattan Jaspers Men's Soccer team (2-4-1, 0-0-1 Metro) earned one point with a draw against the Saints of Siena University (2-5-2, 0-1-1 Metro) with the score 1:1 on Saturday afternoon at Hickey Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Charging just a minute in, Ziv Dahan provided a shot on target, making the opposing goalkeeper work in the first minute of play.
• The teams traded shots for the rest of the half, highlighted by Giovanni Rivera's lone shot in the 30th minute.
• Looking to rebound after Harrison Vail's yellow card, the second half provided more shot attempts, first from Ziv Dahan in the 55th minute, before the pressure became too much for Siena, with the Jaspers adding the first goal off numerous rebounds before Nicolo Donadio became the final shin to touch the ball and cross the line.
• After the goal was initially called off, officials went to video assistance for clarity and learned that Donadio's attempt did cross the line for his third of the season.
• The Jaspers continued to apply pressure, adding four more shots from the offensive midfield.
• One corner kick changed the match's trajectory when Siena equalized in the 84th minute, and Manhattan's final two shots in the waning seconds proved not enough to leapfrog back in front of the Saints.

STATS AND NOTES

• Defender Nicolo Donadio scored his third goal of the season off a rebound after video assistance review in the 69th minute. Donadio also received a yellow card in the full 90 minutes he spent on the pitch.
• Forward Tycho van Haaren logged one assist on the Donadio strike in 78 minutes.
• Forward Ziv Dahan added a team-high three shots, one on target, in 90 minutes.
• Goalkeeper Philip Isaksson recorded his first collegiate draw after surrendering one goal, logged two saves, and faced 13 shots.
• Midfielder Giovanni Rivera registered three shots in 69 minutes, in his fifth start of the season.
• Forward Khaled Daoud also posted three shots in 78 minutes.
• As a team, the Green and White logged 13 shots, with four on target, compared to three by Siena.
