ORANGE PARK, FL – The Manhattan Jaspers Women's Golf team claimed victory behind a dominant performance in the Le Moyne Orange Tree Invitational from the Orange Tree Golf Club on Monday morning.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Starting the spring campaign in style were the Jaspers, who opened the first round with Arianna Steele sinking a birdie on the par five.
- Throughout the remainder of the front nine, Nawel Ben Letaief, Jayden Peters, Giana Zinke, and Edie Nicholson all netted birdies before the trio sank an additional four to round out the first 18.
- In the second round, the Jaspers exploded for double-digit birdies with Letaief leading the way with three, with another three pars. Jayden Peters finished off her front nine with a birdie.
- On the back nine, Maddison Long finished the final five holes with four pars and a 15th green birdie. Letaief and Zinke sank a birdie on the 18th hole to secure the program's second victory, and first of the spring.
