ORANGE PARK, FL – The Manhattan Jaspers Women's Golf team finished second at the Sacred Heart Spring Break Women's Invite after an exceptional two days at Eagle Harbor Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday morning, respectively.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Starting the tournament red hot was Nawel Ben Letaief, who cruised to an even score at the end of the front nine, during which one birdie was logged.
- Throughout the remainder of the front nine, three additional birdies were dropped into the holes by Giana Zinke, Jayden Peters, and Edie Nicholson.
- On the back nine of the first round, Letaief added another two birdies on the 11th and 14th holes, before sinking par on the final four of nine. Peters added one additional birdie on the back nine, with the remainder even.
- In the second and final round of the tournament on Tuesday, Peters added a birdie on the second hole on a 493-yard par five, before capturing par the rest of the way, apart from three holes.
- Maddison Long joined the fray with a birdie on the 12th hole to end the day.
- Individually, Jayden Peters finished tied for second with Siena's Emely Kintzel and shot three over par, for a combined total of 75.
- Giana Zinke finished tied for seventh, five over par and a combined total of 77.

The Green and White are back in action on Friday, April 10, when the Jaspers welcome one of the newest teams in Division I, the Chargers of the University of New Haven, which will mark the program's Senior Day ceremonies, from Preakness Hills Country Club.
