ROUND ONE
  • The first holes in program history for the Green and White gave the Jaspers some early confidence, with Nawel Ben Letaief landing a two-stroke birdie on the second hole of the first round.
  • For the Maryland Eastern Shore transfer Maddison Long, she sank home three birdies on the front nine for a +10 overall finish on the first day.
  • Manhattan logged a 322 overall round with Jayden Peters pacing the Jaspers on the front nine by securing one under par, which included a pair of birdies.

ROUND TWO
  • One of the best rounds in the tournament came by way of the Manhattan Jaspers, by securing an overall round of 299. The Green and White were just one of three teams in the field recorded less than 300. Mount St. Mary's (289) and Bucknell (293).
  • Highlighting the stellar morning was Jayden Peters, who was on fire to open her second round with a birdie on a par four. Peters would finish by netting par in the final six holes on the back nine for a 72 (+2).
  • At the end of the second round, Peters sat in the second position heading into the third round just three strokes behind the leader from Bucknell.
  • Giana Zinke recorded par on all holes but just four throughout the second round and carded a 74 (+4).
  • All Jaspers shot in the 70's, with Beans Factor also capturing a pair of pars throughout the round.
ROUND THREE
  • Difficulties began to set in for the Jaspers, as the Green and White struggled to sink a par, with Letaief, Long, Zinke, and Factor recording only one each throughout their individual round.
  • In the end, Jayden Peters secured a 23rd place finish to pace the Jaspers on the last day of the tournament. Peters fired an 86 in the final day, nearly 14 added strokes in the third round of the Bucknell Invitational.
QUOTES FROM THE JASPERS

Head Coach Keith Prokop: "It was an exciting start for us, filled with emotions. We knew this fall would be a rollercoaster type season and it showed in our first tournament. We showed we have the capability in round 2 with a round of 299 but we also showed our youth on days 1 and 3. It's going to be an exciting season year as the girls are ready to put in the work needed to build something special."
