MILFORD, CT – Manhattan Women's Golf took part in the SHU Fall Classic hosted by Sacred Heart University from Great River Golf Club on Monday and Tuesday mornings.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- To open the event in the Constitution State, it was Nawel Ben Letaief with sank home a birdie on the second hole, after posting a double-bogey to open her day.
- Two holes later, Jayden Peters bounced back with a birdie on a par five to even her day through four.
- On the back nine, Peyton "Beans" Factor finished her first round with a 17th hole birdie as her first of the day.
- In the second round, Peters registered her first birdie of the round on the fourth hole, after starting the round with three pars.
- Down the stretch, Nawel Ben Letaief and Giana Zinke added a couple of birdies to end the round two over par for the former.
- In the third round for the Jaspers, Ben Letaief paced the Green and White with a near perfect back nine with one birdie and six pars.
- Zinke added three birdies to her resume, with a pair coming on holes 10 and 17.
- Isabella Encinas also added one birdie to her resume to close out the front nine.
