Men’s Soccer Announces Five Additions for 2025 Campaign

RIVERDALE, NY — Manhattan Men's Soccer Head Coach Tom Giovatto has announced five additions to the Jaspers program ahead of the 2025 season, on Tuesday morning. They include Jhonn Padilla, Boniface Fatohou, Henry Reinhart, Harrison Vail, and Lucas Cobo.

Jhonn Padilla – Midfielder – Manhattan NY

Prior to College: Club was Manhattan SC Roma 2007 … Named ECNL Boys U16 All American … ECNL Boys Florida Standouts; U17 Players to Know … ECNL Boys SC National Selection Game Roster … Northeast All-Conference Teams … Majoring in Finance.

Why Padilla Chose Manhattan: "Soccer, but education is priority."

Boniface Fatohou – Forward – Bronx, NY/CSU Northridge

2024-25 at CSU Northridge (Freshman): Played in 13 games…recorded six shots, two were on target in 162 total minutes on the pitch.

Prior to College: Attended Westminster School in Simsbury, CT … Graduated in 2023 … Played on Varsity Soccer at Westminster where he earned All-New England First Team and All-State Honors … Two-time All-State … New England Class B Finalist … Helped team to NEPSAC Finalist in 2021 … Club for Cedar Stars Academy … Majoring in Exercise Science.

Henry Reinhart – Midfielder – Woodside, NY/Maspeth High School

Prior to College: Played two years of Boys' Varsity Soccer at Maspeth High School … Scored 11 goals, assisted on four, notched 46 shots on goal in 13 games played in 2022 … Assisted on four goals, shot 10 on target, and played in nine games in 2021 … Club was Manhattan SC ECNL Roma 2007 … ECNL U19 Players to Know Watch List … 3x ECNL Northeast All-Conference Team … ECNL Boys Conference Cup … Majoring in Engineering.

Why Reinhart Chose Manhattan: "Great Academic and Athletic programs. Good Engineering school."

Harrison Vail – Defender, Manhattan, NY/Woodstock Academy (CT)

Prior to College: Transfer from Loyola Marymount University in California … Club was BW Gottschee Academy … Plays for Manhattan Soccer Club in ECNL and USL League Two … Majoring in Business.

Why Vail Chose Manhattan: "Great academics and the goal of this program."

Lucas Cobo – Defender, Chavannes-des-Bois, Switzerland/École Lemania

Prior to College: Played Soccer for four years … Competed for four different clubs between 2019 and 2023 … Played in Switzerland's Second League on the Regional Men's Level … Half season at U18 A Interregional Level, starting in every match … Played in 25 of 30 matches on U21 2nd Interregional Level … Totaled 80 competitive matches as youth … Majoring in Business Management.
