EDISON, NJ - Earlier this week, the MAAC announced a total of 103 student-athletes being named to this season's All-Academic Team. Seven of those came from the Manhattan Women's Volleyball program, per a league release.
Going in descending order alphabetically,
Mikalah Curran,
Anna Duncan,
Sarah Emmons,
Brooke Johnson,
Emilia Kuzniar,
Hunter Kwan, and
Abby Morreale were all bestowed the honor.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Emmons served as the lone senior on the team, graduating with her degree in Communication later this year.
Four juniors in Curran, Duncan, Kuzniar, and Morreale led the way in experience. Curran majors in finance and Duncan in Communication. Kuzniar and Morreale are pursuing their degrees in Psychology and Marketing, respectively.
Rounding out the crew were two sophomores, as the pair of Johnson and Kwan saw the former majoring in Political Science, while the latter in Psychology.
