ROSLYN HARBOR, NY. - The Jaspers played in the Shark Invitational this week at Engineers Country Club in Roslyn Harbor, New York. The tournament was the final tuneup, before the team heads to Florida this weekend, for the MAAC Tournament. The Jaspers shot a 311 (+27) in round one, a 314 (+30) in round two, and a 320 (+36) in round three.
The Jaspers were led by Dimitri Mihelakos, who shot a 230 (+17) in the tournament, shooting 76 (+5) in round one, 75 (+4) in round two, and 79 (+8) in round three.
Colby Norton shot a 238 (+25), highlighted by 77 (+6) rounds in both round one and two.
Ashley Sewell ended with a 241 (+28), while Walter Carley finished with a 243 (+30).
Akshay Mandadapu came on late, shooting a 77 (+6) in round three of the tournament.
Seton Hall won the tournament shooting 877 (+25) through the three rounds. The individual leaders were Seton Hall's George Fricker and Long Island's Carlo Edoardo Lasi who both shot 219 (+6) for the tournament.
Up Next: The Jaspers will participate in the MAAC Championships at Disney's Palm Golf Course from April 19-21st.
