EDISON, NJ – The Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) released its 2025-26 Men's Golf All-MAAC teams, which included Manhattan Jaspers' sophomore Cabell Faulkner to the All-MAAC Second Team, per release on Monday morning.
"A well-deserved award for Cabell," said Head Coach Keith Prokop.
"Obviously, this showed with his performances this year. But what doesn't go overlooked internally is what he does for our program day in and day out. I am so happy for him; he has many more awards to come in his future."
The Potomac, MD native and Richard Montgomery High School alum put together a trio of top ten finishes for the Green and White, which included Columbia's Autumn Invitational, Sacred Heart's Men's Fall Classic, and Columbia's Spring Invitational.
To open the year at Great River Golf Club in Sacred Heart's Classic, Faulkner paced the Green and White with seven birdies in the first round, before doubling his total in the following two rounds. In the event, Faulkner also netted a two-stroke eagle on the 12th hole Par Four.
From Lake Placid Links in Columbia's Autumn Invite, Faulkner performed with a vengeance and paced the Jaspers by sinking three under par in the opening round with a combined five birdies throughout.
During the remainder of the tournament, the Maryland native added five additional birdies and a second-round 12th hole eagle on the Par Four. With the two-under-par finish, Faulkner finished overall eighth out of 80 participants.
Finally, from Rolling Green Golf Club in Columbia's Spring Invite, Faulkner added six combined birdies through the two rounds for another top ten finish.
Overall, Faulkner averaged a score of 75.0 and averaged 14.84 points throughout the season and through 29 total rounds ahead of the final invitational of his sophomore season.
Additional golfers named to the All-MAAC list include Fairfield's Tadgh Burke and Rasmus Ditzinger (Unanimous), Iona's Connor Henderson, Mount St. Mary's Santiago Bonequi, Sacred Heart's Pablo Lacayo, and Mike Rothberg. Iona's Jennings Oelke and Sean Richards. Mount's Force Kosalutta. Niagara's Ben Hebert and Siena's Kurt Nickel.
The Jaspers finish out their 2025-26 season in the Sunshine State on Tuesday, April 28, Wednesday, April 29, and Thursday, April 30, when the Green and White take part in the 2026 MAAC Men's Golf Championships from Disney's Magnolia Golf Course in Lake Buena Vista.
