10/13/2026 8:53:00 PM

LEWISBURG, PA – The Manhattan Jaspers Men's Golf program partook in the Bucknell Invitational, hosted by the Bison of Bucknell University in the rain-shortened two-day tournament on Monday and Tuesday from the Bucknell Golf Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
  • After Sunday's first round was rained out, the Jaspers were on the fairway on Monday morning and did so in dominant fashion with Aidan Talent posting a bogey-less round that featured four birdies throughout.
  • Recording an even par round, was Robert Leo Arnorsson, who netted three birdies, with just two bogeys on the second and 17th holes.
  • At least one birdie was logged by each of the competitors, with Akshay Mandadapu registering the most in the first round for the Green and White, with five.
  • Is his season debut, Jimmy Veale bounced back on the back-nine after a valiant effort on the front side with two birdies, and finishing with six bogey-less holes to close out his first round.
  • Posting three bogeys to open his first round, was Walter Carley, who bounced back with 14 pars or birdies to close out the round, and finish the back-nine one stroke under.
  • As a program, the Green and White recorded a team score of 279 in the first round by accumulating one stroke under par, spearheaded with Talent's four under par performance.
  • In the second round, Aiden Clark paced the Jaspers, with a birdie on the sixth hole, before capturing an additional two birdies on the back-nine to record an even round.
  • Looking to continue where he left off in the first round, Talent bounced back after a tumultuous front nine, before recording five birdies on the back-nine to close out three strokes under par.
  • Finally, Robert Leo Arnorsson logged a par-filled back-nine, that included a birdie on the ninth hole after posting two bogeys on the second and sixth holes.

QUOTES FROM THE JASPERS

Head Coach Keith Prokop: "We are taking major strides as a program which was seen here again this week. I'm very excited to see the progression moving forward now that we are halfway through our fall semester. We had some great performances along the way this tournament but still haven't quite hit our stride yet."
