RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Manhattan Women's Basketball Head Coach
Heather Vulin has announced that Ella Chandler and Alexis Rosenfeld have signed National Letters of Intent.
"We are thrilled to add Lex and Ella to our roster for next season," said Vulin. "Throughout the recruiting process, both of them checked all our boxes for what we look for in our players. They are winners on and off the court, put the team first, and are talented basketball players. Lex will be a presence in the paint and be able to open up the floor with her outside shot. Her blue-collar work ethic will make an impact on the boards and shore up our low post presence with her commitment to defense. Lex has played at a high level for both high school on a nationally ranked team and for a top-tier AAU program. She is ready to come to Riverdale and make an impact.
Ella will flourish in our uptempo style of play. She has great length at 6'0 for a combo guard, is tremendous at advancing the ball and dictating tempo, and can knock down the three. Ella plays for Jasper Men's Basketball HOF, Durelle Brown, and plays in a tremendous conference and also plays top-tier AAU competition. We feel both Lex and Ella are elite competitors and we are so excited to welcome them and their families to Riverdale!"
