LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Four Manhattan men's golfers earn spots on the 2022 MAAC All-Academic Team, announced by the league on Thursday morning.
The four Jaspers were part of a group of 33 student-athletes who made up the 2022 all-academic team.
To be eligible for the MAAC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average of 3.20 on a 4.0 scale.
Lincoln Haymaker,
Tyler Nguyen,
Colby Norton, and
Sam Taraian represented the Jaspers. It is Taraian's third appearance on the all-academic team. It is the second appearance for Haymaker and the first for Nguyen and Norton.
Manhattan opens the 2022 MAAC Championships on Friday at the Disney Magnolia Course.
