RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The 2022 women's lacrosse season gets underway for Manhattan on Saturday when the Jaspers open at Columbia.

I am eager to see our team against the fierce competitors on our schedule this year. This team has put the work in each day. They are a dedicated group, and I know that their work ethic will take us far this year as we continue to strive for excellence on and off the field.
'22 SCHEDULE
The Jaspers alternate road and home through the season's first four games. The home opener for Manhattan is Wednesday against Wagner at Gaelic Park. Manhattan then visits La Salle, UConn, and Vermont. The final home non-conference game for the Jaspers is against LIU on Mar. 19.
Canisius visits Gaelic Park to open MAAC play on Mar. 26 at noon. A three-game home stand sees the Jaspers host Marist, Quinnipiac, and Iona. Manhattan ends the regular season with three away from home.
PRESEASON ALL-LEAGUE
Senior attack
Grace Lipponer picked Preseason All-MAAC honors. Lipponer paced the Jaspers with 32 goals last season and supplied seven assists for 39 points. The Second Team All-MAAC selection from a season ago ranked seventh in the MAAC in goals per game (2.67) and finished the season with five hat tricks.
RETURNING ALL-MAAC
Lipponer was a second-team honoree last season, and
Jillian Reiner returns after earning a spot on the all-rookie team in 2021. Reiner scored three goals with six assists and five ground balls while playing in all 11 games.
PRODUCTION BACK
Lipponer led the team last year offensively.
Meghan Rodino is back and was fourth in points with 22 (15 goals, 7 assists) last season.
Reagan Mullins was fifth in scoring last season for the Jaspers with 14 points (9 goals, 5 assists).
NEW FACES
Jenna Dingler welcomes 10 freshmen to the program this season. The class features four at attack, four in the midfield, and two on defense.
