Luke Hanson (Middletown, NY / Minisink Valley) and senior
Luke Pacher (Williston Park, NY / Chaminade) from the men's lacrosse team were named to the 2021 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large First Team, selected by
CoSIDA, which recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom.
First-Team Academic All-District® honorees advance to the
CoSIDA Academic All-America® ballot. First- and Second-Team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced in early August.
The
CoSIDA Academic All-District® teams are divided into geographic districts across the United States and Canada.
Hanson, who held a 3.95 GPA as an undergraduate, was second in the MAAC this past season with 1.67 assists per game, and finished his Jasper career third in program history with 79 assists and seventh with 126 points.
Pacher, who graduated with a 3.64 GPA in Professional Business Analytics, earned All-MAAC First Team honors on defense after registering 19 ground balls and 10 forced turnovers.
The duo helped Manhattan to the second MAAC Regular Season Championship in program history, with Pacher also being tabbed the MAAC All-Championship Team.
