Eleutiza Named MAAC Libero Of The Week

Edison, NJ - Manhattan volleyball's Nashally Eleutiza (Orlando, FL / Monroe) was named MAAC Libero of the Week on Tuesday, November 5. This is the first conference honor for Eleutiza, a junior transfer defensive specialist for the Jaspers. 

Eleutiza averaged 6.25 digs per set this past week, totaling 50 digs over two matches. She earned a perfect reception percentage for the week, as well, committing no errors in 56 attempts. She earned a match-high 30 digs against Quinnipiac on November 2, just one off her career-high, and tallied 20 digs in three sets against Fairfield on November 3, averaging 6.67 digs per set in that match.

Now with 420 digs on the season, Eleutiza is just 52 away from Manhattan's top 10 single-season digs list. She is averaging a team-high 4.24 digs per set this season, ranking sixth in the MAAC, as well as 4.75 digs per set against conference opponents. 

The Jaspers will be in action again this Saturday, November 9, as they travel to Iona for a 1:00 pm first serve.
