Full 2018 Schedule
Riverdale, NY – Fresh off the celebrations of its 50th anniversary and one of its most successful seasons in recent memory, Manhattan men's soccer has constructed its 2018 schedule as the program reignites its quest to secure a MAAC Championship.
The slate includes three 2017 conference champions and four teams that advanced to postseason play. Including MAAC competition, the Jaspers will play opponents from seven different conferences throughout the course of the regular season.

Jorden Scott. "Every season, we have taken challenging steps within our schedule to put our players and staff in an environment that will replicate what we face in the MAAC. We look forward to having all the players return so that we can begin building a team capable of competing at the top of the conference."
Manhattan's preseason begins with a home match against Fairleigh Dickinson on August 12, followed by a road contest at Army West Point on August 16.
The 2018 regular season kicks off on Friday, August 24 as Manhattan hits the road to battle Patriot League foe Navy. The Jaspers also played the Midshipmen in last year's season opener, a 1-0 Jasper victory in Riverdale.
The Jaspers open at Gaelic Park with a pair of home games against 2017 conference champions. California Baptist, the Division II Pacwest 2017 champion, comes to town on Monday, August 27 at 11:00 am for the home opener. On Thursday, August 30, 2017 NEC victor St. Francis Brooklyn returns to Riverdale for the second straight season for a 7:00 pm duel.
September starts with three road games in six days for Manhattan. The Jaspers seek a win against Sacred Heart for the second straight year on Monday, September 3. After that, the team travels down to Virginia to face VMI on Friday, September 7 and Liberty on Sunday, September 9.
Alumni Day is on Saturday, September 15, with the alumni game at 2:00 pm and a home tilt with Saint Joseph's at 7:00 pm. Manhattan then wraps up non-conference play at Gaelic Park against Fordham on Tuesday, September 18 at 7:00 pm. The Rams beat the Jaspers 3-0 on their home field last season, advanced all the way to the NCAA Quarterfinals and retain five of their eight All A-10 honorees.
Manhattan lifts the lid on MAAC competition Wednesday, September 26 as it visits Monmouth. Saint Peter's meets Manhattan for the conference home opener on Saturday, September 29 at 6:00 pm. The Jaspers then host Siena at 7:00 pm the following Wednesday, October 3.
The rematch of last year's MAAC Quarterfinal matchup between Manhattan and Quinnipiac takes place in Hamden, CT on Saturday, October 6. Last year's MAAC runner-up, Rider, visits the Bronx at 7:00 pm on October 10 before the Jaspers travel up the Hudson River to play Marist on Saturday, October 13.
The Kelly Green and White welcomes Iona to Gaelic Park on Wednesday, October 17 at 7:00 pm. It then travels up to Niagara on Saturday, October 20.
The final home game in 2018 features a clash with Canisius on Saturday, October 27 at 6:00 pm. The regular season concludes when the Jaspers square off against defending champion Fairfield in Connecticut on Wednesday, October 31.
The 2018 MAAC Tournament begins on Saturday, November 4. The semifinals take place on Thursday, November 8, culminating in the championship match on Sunday, November 11.
