Manhattan Second After Day One At The Father Hill Collegiate Invite

 Senior Jon Keyes (Bayport, NY / Coastal Carolina) fired a two-over 72 to lead the way for Manhattan at the inaugural Father George Hill Collegiate Invitational at Split Rock Golf Course.

Led by Keyes, who sits in second place on the individual leaderboard, the Jaspers notched an opening round +19 and are one stroke behind Hofstra.

Juniors Ryan Lynch (Boynton Beach, FL / Park Vista) and classmate Johnny Schob (Huntington, NY / Salisbury School)) each notched rounds of 75 and are tied for sixth while freshman Preston Sortell (Oxford, CT / Holy Cross) is one stroke back in ninth with junior Charles Seward (Tampa, FL / Freedom) in 11th with after firing a 77.

St. Francis Brooklyn's Alexander Lising-White led all golfers with a one-under 69.

The Father George Hill Collegiate Invitational will conclude on Monday, September 26.
