ORANGE PARK, FL – The Manhattan Jaspers Men's Golf team claimed victory in its 2026 spring schedule opener in the Sacred Heart Spring Break Invite at the Eagle Harbor Golf Club, hosted by the Pioneers, on Monday and Tuesday.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Jaspers opened the Invite with six second hole birdies from Cabell Faulkner, Akshay Mandadapu, Louis Vandeputte, Aidan Talent, Patrick Vinter, and Walter Carley.
- To close out the front nine for the Green and White, Aidan Talent landed an eagle on a 554-yard Par 5.
- On the back nine, Mandadapu recorded three straight birdies on Holes No. 14, 15, and 16, before Talent supplied another Jasper birdie on the 17th hole.
- Through the first round, the Jaspers had Faulker, Mandadapu, and Vandeputte all net two and one under par, respectively.
- During the second round, seven different Jaspers put together at least one birdie, with Talent leading the way with three birdies on the back nine for a -2.
- In the final round for Manhattan, Vandeputte carried the Jaspers with five birdies. Three of those came on the back nine to secure one under par through the final nine.

The Jaspers return to action on Monday, March 16 in the Peach State, when the Green and White compete in the Southern Collegiate hosted by the University of Georgia from the Athens Country Club.
