Jaspers Recognized for Success In Classroom

RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The Manhattan College volleyball team has earned the American Volleyball Coaches Association's (AVCA) Team Academic Award for the 2012-13 academic year.  The Jaspers were one of a record 622 teams recognized this year.

All high school and college programs that maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher receive AVCA honors.  A total of 130 Division I women's teams achieved that distinction.  Manhattan had six players selected to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) All-Academic Team in 2012.
