RIVERDALE, N.Y. ? The Manhattan College athletic department has expanded JasperVision, its online video platform, for the 2008-09 academic year. All men's and women's basketball games, along with select fall & spring home athletic contests will be streamed live exclusively at GoJaspers.com. JasperVision is the only online destination for live and on-demand streaming video for Manhattan College patrons.
JasperVision is available to fans for $5.95 per view, $39.95 for the men's and women's basketball season package and $49.95 for a yearly subscription. All broadcasts will feature play-by-play commentary, instant replays and innovative web graphics. Fans who sign up for the seasonal or yearly package prior to November 1 will receive 20% discount off the subscription.
Jasper fans can watch the men's soccer team dual with local MAAC rival Iona tomorrow evening at 7 p.m. The Manhattan women's volleyball team will appear on JasperVision again in early November for its highly anticipated competitions with cross-town rival Iona (Nov. 1) and Rider (Nov. 2).
All men's and women's basketball home contests, which are not televised on a regional or national network, will be available to fans courtesy of JasperVision. The Manhattan men look forward to exciting non-conference games with 2008 NCAA Tournament participant American University, 2008 NIT qualifier Morgan State University, along with local rivals Princeton, Hofstra and Long Island at Draddy Gymnasium. The Lady Jaspers welcome BIG EAST member St. John's, Vermont, Sacred Heart and Army to Riverdale. In addition, both teams will host their nine conference rivals.
