Luka Van Cauteren (Oetingen, Belgium) was named the MAAC Volleyball Player of the Week, for the week ending September 22, it was announced today by the conference office.
Van Cauteren recorded three triple-doubles on the week totaling 52 kills, 59 assists and 50 digs. The three triple-doubles earned her Villanova All-Tournament Team honors. Van Cauteren's weekend was highlighted by 20 kills, 25 assists, and 14 digs in the win against Villanova in the second round of the tournament.
Manhattan is back in action this Thursday, when the Jaspers travel to Stony Brook, NY to compete against the Stony Brook University Seawolves at 7.
