RIVERDALE, NY (JANUARY 12, 2002) -
Nick Silva (Chesterfield, MO) and
Eugene Tanner (Medford, NY) earned Honorable Mention Division I Preseason All-American honors.
Silva was named to the midfield squad while Tanner was a member on the attack. Silva had 20 goals and 27 assists for 47 points. Tanner had 51 goals and 23 assists for 74 points. Both members made First Team All-MAAC in 2002. Tanner earned 2002 MAAC Rookie of the Year and Silva earned MAAC Offensive Player of the Year.
The Jaspers kick off the 2003 season when they head to Colorado to play Denver on Saturday, February 22, at 1:30 PM.
