PHILADELPHIA, PA (August 31, 2002) - The Manhattan College volleyball team defeated Fairleigh Dickinson University three games to none in their last match of the La Salle Invitational tonight. The game results were 30-19, 30-24 and 30-18.
The Lady Jaspers advance to a 3-1 overall record, while the Knights drop to 0-4 for the season.

Lauryn McKinney (San Diego, CA) and junior transfer
Krista Thorsen (New City, NY) both led the team with six kills apiece. McKinney's six kills on nine attempts with one error totaled for an impressive .556 hitting percentage. Freshman middle hitter
Marija 'Maggie' Pfeifer (Liberty, MO) had four kills, seven digs and led the team in service aces with five. Freshman
Megan O'Dorisio (San Diego, CA) led the team in defense with 10 digs followed by freshman Ashley Davis (Naperville, IL), who had eight digs in the game.
The Lady J's will return to action on Monday, September 2nd for their home opener against Cal State Fullerton in Draddy Gymnasium at 6:00 PM.
