RIVERDALE, NY (October 23, 2002) - After posting a 20-1 overall record for a .952 winning percentage last week, the Manhattan College volleyball team remain atop the Northeast Region on the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division I Match Won-Lost Percentage Rankings for the week ending 10/20/02. The Lady Jaspers are tied with Eastern Washington and the University of North Carolina for fourth place. Manhattan is also ranked eighth in aces per game with 2.57 and 19th in digs per game with 17.89.

Amy O'Dorisio (San Diego, CA) continues to remain strong on the defense list after ranking 27th in digs per game with 4.19. The outside hitter had 30 digs last week for a season total of 289 in 69 games to lead the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Another Lady J making strides in the MAAC is
Marija 'Maggie' Pfeifer (Liberty, MO). She leads the conference in hitting percentage with .365.
Manhattan, which is now 21-1 after defeating MAAC rival Iona three games to one for the best winning streak in the nation, will host Saint Peter's this Friday, October 25th at 7:00 PM in Draddy Gymnasium.
