Women's Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

RIVERDALE, N.Y. - Gearing up for her first season at the helm, Manhattan University Women's Volleyball Head Coach Brooke Alverson has announced the program's 2026 schedule, official as of Friday afternoon. 

Starting a slate of 29 games, the Jaspers will open up the season in the City of Brotherly Love as they participate in the Temple Invite, squaring off with the host Owls on Friday, August 28. They will conclude the stay in Philadelphia with a cross-Bronx clash against the Rams from Fordham on Saturday, August 29. 

The Green and White will participate in the Yale Invitational the following weekend, facing the Broncos from Santa Clara on Friday, September 4. A doubleheader is to follow on Saturday, September 5 starting with the host Bulldogs and culminating with another New York foe in Hofstra. 

Their third and final multi-team event will be the Friar Classic from Friday, September 11 through Saturday, September 12. Manhattan will play Providence first on Friday, with neutral matches against Holy Cross and Stonehill on Saturday. 

To open up the Metro and home schedule, the Jaspers will compete inside Draddy Gymnasium for the first time on Friday, September 25 against Merrimack at 6:00 PM. Five of the team's first seven conference matches are at home, wrapping with the Golden Griffins of Canisius on Saturday, October 10 at 2:00 PM. 

Manhattan will return that favor in road fashion later immediately after, entering a stretch of seven away contests out of their next nine. This includes five consecutive away matches from October 16 through October 27, starting with Saint Peter's and ending with Iona. 

Draddy Gymnasium will conclude the regular season for the Green and White, with Rider on Friday, November 13 and Saint Peter's on Saturday, November 14. 

The 2026 Metro Championship will take place from Tuesday, November 17 through Sunday, November 22.
