HANOVER, NH – The Manhattan Jaspers baseball team (16-27, 8-16 MAAC) dropped the rubber game to the Big Green of Dartmouth College (15-22, 7-11 Ivy League) by a score of 1-0 from Red Rolfe Field at Biondi Park on Sunday afternoon.
HOW IT HAPPENED

- Moving his on-base streak to 25 games was Andreaus Lewis, who led off the fourth inning with a walk, before advancing to third two batters later, but was ultimately stranded after Colin Basehore flew out to right field.
- Still scoreless through four and a half, the Big Green posted the lone run off a triple to right center and drove home one run.
- The Jaspers, again, had runners in scoring position, but were unable to bring Hunter Sute just 90 feet to tie the game at one.
- In the ninth inning, Manhattan was threatening once more with a lead-off walk issued to Basehore, before Jackson Brinker pinch ran for the outfielder to provide speed.
- After back-to-back ground-outs, Brinker was stranded on third to end the game.
