RIVERDALE, NY – Manhattan Jaspers' Baseball Head Coach Steven Rosen has released his 2026 Baseball Schedule on Friday morning.

"This schedule reflects exactly where we want Manhattan Baseball to go—challenging ourselves early, competing fearlessly, and preparing to play our best baseball when it matters most," described Rosen.

The Green and White opens its 2026 campaign at the Puerto Rico Challenge in Caguas and Ponce, featuring eight teams: Boston College, University of Houston, Indiana State, NC State, Seton Hall, Wake Forest, and the University of Washington. Manhattan will play the Sycamores, Pirates, and Cougars on February 13, 14, and 15, respectively, with the first game in Caguas and the final two in Ponce.

Three days after their trip to Puerto Rico, junior outfielder Aidan Katzman and the Jaspers begin a five-day trip to the Commonwealth of Virginia and Norfolk to play four against Norfolk State (February 20-22), before starting the journey against Old Dominion on February 18. Two seasons ago, Manhattan swept the Spartans by a score of 5-2, 14-1, and 6-4.

Just five days later, Manhattan heads north to take on the University of Maryland Eastern Shore for a three-game set. Last season against the Hawks, the Jaspers' lone contest was cancelled due to rain, which was set to be played in Princess Anne on Tuesday, March 4.

The Jaspers begin their northeast journey with their inaugural meeting against the Ivy League's Yale Bulldogs on Wednesday, March 4, at George H.W. Bush '48 Field—one of the oldest and storied stadiums in all of College Baseball.

Senior third baseman Trevor Hansen and Manhattan begin its conference season on Friday, March 6, with a visit to the Red Foxes of Marist University. Last year, the Jaspers put together two victories in three games, highlighted by Hansen's three-run home run inside William J. Bonomo Memorial Field in a much-needed win in the second game of a doubleheader on Mother's Day Weekend.

After a midweek meeting at FDU on Tuesday, March 10, the Jaspers are back to conference play to take on the Fairfield Stags for a three-game series beginning on Friday, March 13. Manhattan has taken down the Stags just once in nearly seven seasons, with one win coming on April 8, 2023, in Fairfield in a slugfest 14-10 win.

Manhattan begins its home schedule at Clover Stadium with four games against the Leopards of Lafayette College on Tuesday, March 17, before playing host to the Quinnipiac Bobcats for a three-game series on Friday, March 20, and concluding on Sunday, March 22.

Junior pitcher Joe Duffield and his Jaspers hit the road for a five-game road trip that begins at nearby Columbia (March 25), highlighted with a three-game trip to conference-foe Merrimack starting on March 27, and concluding with a visit to Lafayette on Wednesday, April 1.

The Green and White then play at Clover Stadium for a six-game out of seven stretch featuring the Sacred Heart Pioneers and Siena Saints, with a visit to Fordham for another Battle of the Bronx in the middle on Tuesday, April 7.

Before graduate infielder Ryan Lordier and the Jaspers head south to Central New Jersey and Philadelphia, they'll head eastbound to take on the Stony Brook Seawolves for a non-conference tilt at Joe Nathan Field on Tuesday, April 14, before visiting the Rider Broncs on Friday, April 17, for three.

The Jaspers visit the La Salle Explorers and former Manhattan head coach Dave Miller for the first time since 2018 on Tuesday, April 21. The previous contest against the Explorers came on March 16, 2018, when the Green and White took down La Salle 11-6. This is also the first contest against the Explorers since the program's re-inception late last season.

Redshirt sophomore pitcher Chris Fidanza and Manhattan return to Clover Stadium to play host to the Golden Griffins of Canisius on Friday, April 24 through 26, before going on the road for another five, highlighted by a three-game series at Dartmouth.

Finally, six of the next seven games to conclude the season feature MAAC foes Niagara and Iona, with three coming at home, before ending the regular season in New Rochelle for a marquee series to set up a potential meaningful battle heading into the postseason.

"Our group is hungry with a chip on our shoulder, motivated, and committed to elevating this program. This slate gives us a great platform to do it."
