RIVERDALE, N.Y. — It may not feel like it yet but baseball is returning to the Bronx soon. Manhattan Baseball will be at the forefront when it hosts a menu of new camps starting next month at the Manhattan Baseball Indoor Facility, located six miles from campus in nearby Yonkers.
"We're excited to get everybody to campus," head coach Steven Rosen said. "It's always the best way to get in front of our coaching staff and for our program to give back to the community."
PRESEASON CATCHER CAMP
WHERE: Manhattan Baseball Indoor Facility located at 1000 Saw Mill River Road Yonkers, NY 10710.
WHEN: Every Sunday from January 12 to February 2, 2025 (9 AM - 11 AM).
WHO: Boys - All Ages!
WHAT: The 4-Week Catcher Clinic is led by Manhattan Head Coach Steven Rosen and is open to players/catchers of all ages who want to refine their catching skills. Each session will focus on receiving, blocking, throwing, and game management, providing detailed skill instruction at the position. Whether you're a beginner or looking to polish advanced skills, this clinic is for you!

PRESEASON HITTING SCHOOL
WHERE: Manhattan Baseball Indoor Facility located at 1000 Saw Mill River Road Yonkers, NY 10710
WHEN: Every Monday from January 13 to February 2, 2025 (6:00 PM - 8 PM).
WHO: Males - Grades 9-12
WHAT: The Preseason Hitting School is led by former College World Series MVP and Manhattan hitting coach Scott Wingo. It is designed for high school students preparing for their upcoming seasons. Each session focuses on swing mechanics, approach, and maximizing offensive potential through drills and live batting practice. Participants will work closely with Manhattan University coaches to fine-tune their skills.

WINTER PROSPECT CAMP
WHERE: Manhattan Baseball Indoor Facility located at 1000 Saw Mill River Road Yonkers, NY 10710.
WHEN: Sunday, January 26 (9 AM Start, 8:45 AM Registration)
WHO: Males - High School Grades 9-12 and Junior College Participants
WHAT: Specifically designed for prospective student-athletes in grades 9-12, the Winter Prospect Camp provides an opportunity to showcase your skills in a showcase-style workout. Participants will receive instruction and evaluation from the Manhattan University coaching staff. This is a great way to display your potential as a future college baseball player.

4-WEEK YOUTH PITCHING CLINIC
WHERE: Manhattan Baseball Indoor Facility located at 1000 Saw Mill River Road Yonkers, NY 10710.
WHEN: Every Sunday from January 12 to February 2, 2025 (11:30 AM-1:30 PM, immediately following the Catcher Clinic).
WHO: Males - Ages 8-14
WHAT: The Youth Pitching Clinic is led by Manhattan pitching coach Will Hesllink - and open to players ages 8-14 who want to improve their pitching mechanics, velocity, and command. Each session is tailored to develop fundamental skills and build a foundation for long-term success. Manhattan University coaches will provide individualized feedback to help young pitchers maximize their potential.
