Get to Know: Jade Blagrove, Women's Basketball

I was doing gymnastics first but that didn’t work out very well as a tall kid. After I quit that I just tried a bunch of different sports to see which one I liked. I fell in love with basketball immediately!

My major is psychology. I love being able to help and connect with people so I think psychology is the perfect combination of that. Mental health is extremely important and if I can make a positive impact on someone’s life that would be amazing.

I can belly dance!

My favorite moment at Manhattan was definitely making the MAAC finals my sophomore year. That was the first time Coach Heather and her team made the finals so that was a very special moment for all of us. It was so cool to be a part of that my first year at Manhattan.

My parents are my inspiration. They made me the person I am today and I would not be in America if it wasn’t for them. They are amazing parents and they support me in everything. I truly look up to them.
