RIVERDALE, N.Y. – The accolades continue to roll in for Manhattan's
Pete Durocher. The outfielder has been named Honorable Mention All-ECAC.
Durocher was the lone MAAC student-athlete to earn All-ECAC acclaim.
The rising senior was named All-Region by the ABCA/Rawlings and earned First Team All-MAAC honors this season. This summer, the Emerson, N.J. native is playing for the Mohawk Valley DiamondDawgs of the Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League.
For the Jaspers this spring, Durocher finished second on the Jaspers in slugging percentage (.530), runs scored (45), hits (64), RBI (50), home runs (6), and total bases (97). The right fielder led the Jaspers in stolen bases with 15, fourth in the MAAC. Durocher recorded 21 multi-hit and 11 multi-RBI games and ended the season on a nine-game hitting streak.
Manhattan finished the 2022 season at 24-26 overall and 12-12 in MAAC play.
