Jaspers Finish Sixth In South Jersey Spring Kickoff

OCEAN VIEW, N.J. – The Manhattan golf team finished sixth after day two of the South Jersey Spring Kickoff at the Shore Gate Golf Club.
 
The Jaspers had a team score of 673 (+97). La Salle won the field with a team score of 608 (+32). Justin Burkhamer, of Iona, placed on top of the individual standings with a 146 (+2).
 
For Manhattan, Colby Norton finished the top individual in T24 at 163 (+19). Lincoln Haymaker ended T30 at 167 (+23), and Max Levine was T33 with a 173 (+29).
 
Norton shot a 78 (+6) on the second day of the outing, and Haymaker carded an 82 (+10). Jimmy Escoto shot a 179 (+35) in two rounds for the Jaspers. 
 
Manhattan returns to action on Friday in Daytona Beach, FL, for the Sacred Heart Spring Invitational.
