BRONX, N.Y. - Manhattan's women swimming and diving team fell to Fordham 182-65.
In Friday's meet, the women fell to Fordham 182-65. Manhattan secured first and second place in the women's 200-Yard freestyle relay, scoring 11 and four points with final times of 1:49.98 and 1:53.28. Fordham got third, fourth, fifth, and sixth place but earned no points. Â
For individual races, in the 100-yard backstroke Manhattan's,
Teddy Segmuller came in second place with a finishing time of 1:03.01, scoring four points for Manhattan.
Kyla Guilfoil came in third place in the 50-yard backstroke with a final time of 29.32, scoring three points for the Jaspers. The women's team also came in fourth in the 50-yard breaststroke, credited to Natalia Velez-Serrano with a final time of 37.07, scoring two points.Â
Manhattans Women's swimming & diving team competes again on Saturday, Oct. 22nd, at home against St. Francis Brooklyn.Â
