Riverdale, NY – Manhattan Head Coach
Jenna Dingler has named
Hailey Siemek as an Assistant Coach for the upcoming season.
Siemek was a standout student-athlete for the Jaspers, starting every game she played in over her four years from 2017-20. One of the top defenders in the MAAC, Siemek paced the conference and ranked second nationally in 2020 with 2.0 forced turnovers per game and was voted Team MVP.
She helped fuel Manhattan's impressive six-win improvement in 2019, as she was an integral member of a defense that paced the MAAC in ground balls (21.35/GM) and GAA (9.10).
At Manhattan, Siemek will be responsible for assisting in all areas of the program, with a specific focus on the defense.
"I am so excited to welcome Hailey back to Jasper Nation to join our coaching staff," said Dingler. "Her standout career as a student-athlete here at Manhattan, along with her strong ties with our alumni will add a unique and impactful element to our staff. This program will continue to grow stronger with Hailey's addition."
Siemek graduated from Manhattan in 2020 with a degree in Allied Health, and most recently earned her bachelor's degree in nursing from Pace.
